As an SEO specialist, you will be responsible for improving our clients' website positioning and performance (organic traffic). You will be responsible for formulating SEO strategies, supporting the team in designing IT architectures, producing guidelines and optimized content, and periodically monitoring website performance. You will interface with our multidisciplinary teams, working with product managers, developers, designers, and UX writers.
Key Responsibilities
- You will analyze the performance of organic traffic, backlink profile, and website content to identify actions needed to grow traffic, conversions, and revenue generated from the organic channel;
- You will research the most used keywords and analyze competitors through the use of specific tools (e.g., Semrush, Seozoom, and Search Console);
- You will support the team in content optimization and creation;
- You will set up and monitor the proper operation of conversion tracking through Web Analytics tools (Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics);
- You will produce SEO reports explaining the results obtained to internal stakeholders and the client.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in the role;
- Excellent knowledge of on-page and off-page optimization techniques;
- Excellent knowledge of one or more analytics tools (e.g., Semrush, Seozoom, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, and Majestic SEO);
- Excellent ability to interpret the data obtained and process reports;
- Ability to create functional texts and verify recommended implementations and actions;
- Excellent knowledge of SEO Copywriting techniques;
- Good knowledge of Google Analytics (Tag Manager is a plus);
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JS;
- Excellent skills in the use of Keynote (or Powerpoint) and Google Spreadsheet (or Excel);
- Excellent knowledge of the Italian language;
- Good knowledge of the English language.
